St. Anton am Arlberg, known worldwide for its outstanding ski area, offers a winter paradise not only for piste fans. Set amidst the majestic Alps, St. Anton offers an enchanted landscape of snow-covered forests, deep snow-covered valleys and breathtaking views of the peaks in winter. Winter hiking allows visitors to experience the tranquillity of nature to the full, far from the busy ski slopes. The region around St. Anton has a well-developed network of about 80 kilometres and a total of 17 signposted trails. These are perfectly groomed and lead through picturesque villages, along crystal clear streams and through dense forests. There are flatter routes for beginners, while experienced winter hikers can choose more challenging routes at higher altitudes.
