Hiking holiday St. Anton

Mountain enjoyment on the Arlberg

St. Anton am Arlberg is a popular destination for hikers who want to experience the breathtaking scenery of the Tyrolean Alps. The region is known for its spectacular mountain peaksclear mountain lakes and idyllic alpine meadows. On the over 300-kilometre-long network of hiking trails, the Tyrolean Alps are open to holidaymakers for extensive walks in healing mountain air. Well-marked trails of varying length and difficulty lure hikers into the nature of the Verwall Group and the Lechtal Alps. One of the most popular hikes in St. Anton is the tour to Valluga, one of the highest peaks in the area. The hike is challenging, but the views from the summit are breathtaking and it is definitely an experience not to be missed. Another option is the hike to Kapallspitze, which is a little easier but still offers impressive views.

While hiking in St. Anton, there are many ways to relax and refresh yourself, including the many mountain huts and alpine pastures that can be found along the hiking trails. Here you can enjoy typical Tyrolean dishes and take in the breathtaking scenery. If you prefer to be accompanied by a professional, the Summer card allows you to take part in a guided hike free of charge. Of course, individual tours can also be booked at the Arlberg-Arena Mountain Hiking School.
